The heart and soul of any
outfitter is the guides that make up the staff. With this in
mind, we've selected what we
believe to be the finest and most talented group of men and
woman to make sure your adventure is as enjoyable as
possible. Although they come from different backgrounds, all
our guides share a deep passion for the outdoors and a
commitment to provide the very best service. Here's how we
rank our guides and instructors based on training and
experience:

session, our Assistant Guides are well on their way to a
career in leading groups of kayakers. Besides showing a
talent for the 'hard' skills of kayaking, they are also
selected for their personality's and 'soft' skills. All are
required to have a Red Cross CPR and First Aid card.

Lead Guides have experience in leading and managing groups
of sea-kayakers. Many also guide in other outdoor activities
as well. Navigation, tides-currents, and trip planning are
just a few of skills that they have mastered. Must have a
Wilderness First Aid & CPR card.
Expedition Guide:
These guys/gals represent the 'best of the best'. All have
considerable experience leading groups in extended trips and
advanced paddling conditions, as well
as having trained with organizations such as the
British Canoe Union or the American Canoe Association. If you
need a guide to take you to the edge of adventure, then
we have have the professionals for you. Must have a
Wilderness First Responder certification and formal training
in wilderness group management.
